The BPA Racing Slack Setter uses clear Too Loose / OK / Too Tight indicators to help you check your chain slack against a calibrated reference for your motorcycle.
Calibrate first. Then check.
- Set your chain slack according to your motorcycle manufacturer’s recommended measurement and procedure.
- Calibrate the Slack Setter to that setting, following the supplied instructions.
- Check the indicators during subsequent checks and adjust your chain according to your motorcycle manual when needed.
Use your motorcycle’s specified chain slack and checking procedure instead of relying on a general “three-finger” estimate.
